The LG SH150A slider launched in Korea sporting 26-million colours and new fangled AM OLED technology. This next generation screen has 1000 times faster response times than standard TFT LED displays. The AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) screen is offering a crisper image and 1,000 times faster response time compared to existing TFT-LCD mobile screens. Not only that but its kind to battery drain by reducing power consumption. Throw in the 26-million colours and the screen quality is going to be stunning. It's also no surprise to also see this display fitted into the DMB TV version of the SH150. This AM OLED technology is obviously geared for improving mobile TV broadcast picture quality.Phone spotters also might be interested to know the LG SH150A also features blistering 7.2Mbps-flavoured HSDPA download speeds and a two-megapixel snapper. Naturally, the LG SH150A is only availble in Korea and we're still unsure when or if this AM OLED technology will reach Blighty. But surely it's only a matter of time.A built-in electronic dictionary, PC-out capability, multitasking, external memory and automatic global roaming are some of the other features of the LG SH150A.
